Michigan Looking for a Turnaround

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Michigan is reeling more than it has in decades, but two straight stunning home losses haven't taken all the fight out of Coach Lloyd Carr or star running back Mike Hart.

Carr says nothing can keep him down, not the opening loss to Appalachian State or the loss of his job, and Hart guarantees that the Wolverines will beat Notre Dame this Saturday.

Michigan, which fell to Oregon 39-7 yesterday, hasn't opened a year with two straight losses at home since 1959.
