Former University of Michigan runner Kevin Sullivan says he's taking time to appreciate the Summer Games in Athens.
He says he'll pause to listen to the roar of the crowd when he marches into Olympic Stadium for the men's 1500-meter race Friday.
Sullivan is one of the veterans and a vocal team leader on the young Canadian track squad at the Olympics. The 30-year-old middle-distance runner finished fifth at the Sydney Olympics in 2000. He missed the 1996 Games in Atlanta with an injury.
