Kenny Rogers is scheduled to pitch for Detroit for the first time in a month Wednesday when the Tigers face the Chicago White Sox.
Rogers has been sidelined since July 26th with inflammation of the left elbow. It was his second trip to the disabled list this season.
The 42-year old has only pitched 32 and two-thirds innings this season due to injuries, and is 3-and-2 with a 5.23 ERA.
