Comments from head coach Mark Dantonio:
"It was a nice day, and the field is in tremendous shape. I felt the offense played well, especially in terms of communicating and managing the game. Our quarterbacks looked sharp and did some good things, but we'll keep pushing forward. Jehuu Caulcrick got the bulk of the work (at running back) today and ran the ball well. Andre Anderson made some big runs, and he's really pushing A.J. Jimmerson for playing time as the third running back.

"Defensively, we lacked emotion and enthusiasm and it showed. The offense got into a rhythm early and moved the ball methodically down the field."
