ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -- The University of Michigan football team held its annual media day today.
Receiver Adrian Arrington was there but his status as a member of the team was in doubt for awhile.
Coach Lloyd Carr only recently reinstated Arrington after suspending him.
Arrington had 40 catches for 544 yards and eight touchdowns last season.
But he got into trouble last October after getting into an argument with his girlfriend.
He ended up being cleared of a misdemeanor domestic violence charge shortly after the season.
Carr still made Arrington report to Michigan Stadium at six in the morning and run the stairs for an hour every day for 60 straight days.
Arrington says the experience has made him a stronger person and athlete.
