BRATISLAVA, Slovakia - The USA Women’s U19 World Championship Team will advance to the second round of the 2007 U19 World Championship with a perfect 3-0 record after topping Lithuania (1-2), 90-50, Saturday night in the final preliminary-round contest. Spartan center Allyssa DeHaan averaged 5.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in the three preliminary-round games. She led all American players with seven blocks.

"We want to celebrate after every win, but it has to be short-lived," said USA U19 and DePaul University head coach Doug Bruno. "We have some tough competition ahead in the second round, and we need to continue to get better."

DeHaan shot 58 percent in the three games, going 7-for-12 from the field. In the first game against the Ivory Coast, DeHaan was 3-of-4 from the field with six rebounds, six points and two blocks. Against China, DeHaan scored six points, collected five boards and a team-high four blocks on 2-of-3 shooting.
