Both Area Girls Prep Teams Win
East Lansing and Portland both move on to Semi-Finals

Both mid Michigan girls high school basketball teams alive in the state tournament won quarter-final games Tuesday night. Top ranked East Lansing beat Rockford 56-51 in Caledonia in class A. In class B at DeWitt, Portland crushed New Boston Huron 41-16. Both East Lansing and Portland will play semi-final games in the Breslin Center on Friday.
