Michigan Wins in Big Ten Tourney
Wolverines face Ohio State at noon Friday.

Manny Harris scored 22 points and DeShawn Sims 14 and Michigan beat Iowa 59-52 in the Big Ten men's basketball tournament opening game Thursday in Indianapolis. The Wolverines led by 9 at halftime and cruised most of the way to their 15th win against 16 losses. Iowa ended its season with 6 losses in its last 7 games with questions about coach Todd Lickliter's future up in the air. Michigan next meets Ohio State in a quarter-final game at noon Friday. The teams split two games during the regular season.
