SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Baseball fans have chosen three Detroit Tigers players for starting positions at the All-Star game July tenth in San Francisco.
At least two other Tigers could see action for the American League squad in the game.
The starters are catcher Ivan Rodriguez, second-baseman Placido Polanco and outfielder Magglio Ordonez.
Players and managers chose reserves and pitchers.
The reserves include Detroit's Carlos Guillen.
Eleven pitchers have ben tapped for the A-L team, among them the Tigers' Justin Verlander.
Detroit manager Jim Leyland will manage the American League team.
