Red Wings Busy On Day 2 Of The NHL Draft

DETROIT (AP) -- The Detroit Red Wings made four picks in the second day of the N-H-L draft, including Swedish center Joakim Andersson in the third round and Canadian center Randy Cameron.
The Wings took the six-foot-two, 198-pound Andersson with the 88th overall pick. He had 20 goals and 26 assists for 46 points in 41 games last season in the Swedish Junior League.
Detroit picked Cameron in the fifth round and 148th overall. A native of Prince Edward Island, the five-foot-eleven, 175-pound Cameron played last season in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. He scored 17 goals and had 22 assists for 39 points in 70 games.
Detroit also selected Zack Torquato of the Ontario Hockey League and Bryan Rufenach of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League.
