The Okemos softball team improved to 32-1 on the season with a 7-0 win over Everett in round one of the Districts Tuesday. Cheifton Ace Sarah Patterson -- whose thrown all but 6 innings for Okemos this year -- pitched a complete game shutout.
Everett finishes the year 13-and-23 while Okemos draws Owosso in round two.
The Chiefton baseball team didn't need seven innings, they beat the Vikings in just 5, behind 14 runs. The 14-0 win paves the way for a match up with Owosso in round 2 on June 2.
