The Second Kids Day of the week yielded the same result for Lansing, another loss.
Travis Snyder's 2 RBI double in the bottom of the 8th cut the South Bend lead to 4-3 but that's as close as Lansing would get. The Silverhawks tacked on another run in the top of the 9th and won 5-3.
Lansing will take the next 2 days off before hopping on the bus for a long road trip starting in Wisconsin.
