Detroit Lions rookie cornerback Chris Cash laughs when teammates call him "Cash Money" and "Dinero" in practice.

But Cash would gladly trade those nicknames for a chance to hear the Lions coaches call his number when the regular season starts.

Coach Marty Mornhinweg says Cash and fellow rookie cornerback and third round pick Andre Goodman have progressed well in training camp.

Mornhinweg says the pair played at a high level in the team's first exhibition game against Baltimore on Friday.

The coach needs players at the position because of the loss of Bryant Westbrook to Dallas and Terry Fair to injury.

The Lions are practicing in Allen Park for Saturday night's game with the Browns in Cleveland.
