AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- Richard Hamilton scored 22 points and the Detroit Pistons are up two-games-to-none in the Eastern Conference quarterfinals following a 98-to-90 win over Orlando.
Hamilton was one of four Pistons with at least 17 points. Chauncey Billups had 21 points and eight assists for the Pistons, who saw a 15-point lead cut to six late in the fourth quarter. Tayshaun Prince finished with 18 points and Rasheed Wallace dropped in 17 while grabbing eleven rebounds.
The Magic received little offense from Dwight Howard, who was held to eight points on 3-of-9 shooting. Howard didn't score in the second half until the final minute.
