Michigan State's womens basketball and men's hockey teams play neutral site games in their next contests both on Sunday. The MSU women are in Grand Rapids' Van Andel Arena for a 4pm game against Western Michigan. MSU is 1-2 after a 68-67 loss to Notre Dame in the Breslin Center Thursday night. The Spartans are recovering from the season ending loss to injury of forward Courtney Schiffauer earlier this week.
The MSU hockey team is in Fort Wayne for a 4pm game Sunday against Notre Dame. The teams tied in overtime at Munn Arena Thursday before the Irish won the shoot out 2-1. MSU is now 9-2-2 on the season and hosts Wisconsin and Minnesota in the Hockey Showcase over the Thanksgiving week end.
