Michigan State is a 3 point underdog in Spartan Stadium Saturday against Penn State. The Land Grant Trophy goes to the winner-- the Nittany Lions have won it 12 out of 16 times. Penn State is 8-0 at home, but a mere 4-4 when the teams play in East Lansing and the Spartans rallied from 17 down in the third quarter two years ago to win 35-31 and get a Champ's Sports Bowl bid.
MSU will say good bye to 19 seniors before the game. Penn State is 9-2 and MSU 6-5 with consecutive wins over Western Michigan and Purdue. At age 82, one always wonders if Joe Paterno will coach his final game in East Lansing on Saturday.
