THE DETROIT LIONS WILL OPEN THEIR SEASON THIS FALL ON SEPTEMBER 9TH AT OAKLAND WITH A 4:15PM EASTERN TIME KICK OFF. THE LIONS HOME OPENER IS THE FOLLOWING SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 16TH, AGAINST THE MINNESOTA VIKINGS. THE LIONS HOST THE GREEN BAY PACKERS ON THANKSGIVING DAY.
