Michigan State's hockey team lost a shootout at Munn Arena to Nebraska Omaha Friday night to split their two game CCHA series. The Spartans scored on a power play midway through the third period to tie the score at 3 all and that's the way it stayed through overtime. Andrew Rowe was MSU's only scorer in the shootout which only counts in the CCHA standings. Otherwise the game is a tie and MSU now stands 7-2-1 on the season.
