EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Mark Schneider hit the go-ahead three-pointer in leading Bath past Saginaw Nouvel 65-to-60 in the Class C state title game.
Schneider scored 20 points in giving Bath its first state championship since it won the Class D crown in 1960.
Brett Monroe added 19 points for Bath, while Eli Redman had 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Tim Ryan led the Panthers with 18 points and 14 rebounds, but missed three key free throws in the final period. He torched the nets for 15 points in the half for Nouvel.
