Michigan State President Lou Anna K. Simon addressed the future of women's basketball coach Joanne P. McCallie this afternoon at the International Study Awards held in the Delia Koo International Academic Center:
"Joanne P. McCallie has just been a terrific coach and a terrific asset to Michigan State University," she said. "And as we do in every season, we sit down with the coaches right after the season, and talk about the season as well as contractual issues. That's something that the Director of Athletics (Ron Mason) does, and I think we're on track to have that conversation with coach McCallie."
