Bath Wins In Overtime Again

For the second game in a row Bath needed overtime to advance in the Class C boys basketball tournament. Eli Redman scored 17 points as Bath watched the Buccaneers miss 2 shots at the end of regulation. Bath held Flint Beecher to 2 points in the extra session. Bath moves onto the quarterfinals at Alma on Tuesday night.

In other regional final action 2 mid-michigan teams fell in Class B. In DeWitt the host Panthers pushed Bridgeport to the limit before the Bearcats finally put DeWitt away late in the fourth quarter. Josh Armstead lead the way for DeWitt with 18 points. The Panthers end their season with a 15-and-10 record. The final score was 57-to-50.

Lansing Catholics season came to an end at the hands of Hudsonville Unity Christian by a final of 70-to-58. Aaron Nichols scored 27 points in the loss. The Cougars had a great year and ended their season with a 21-and-3 record.
