EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Greensboro regional five seed Michigan State will play at home Sunday against number 12 seed Delaware in the first round of the women's N-C-A-A tournament.
The Spartans are making their fifth straight N-C-Double-A tournament appearance and eighth bid overall. Michigan State advanced to the N-C-A-A title game in 2005 and has a 10-and-7 overall record in tournament play.
Duke, Tennessee, Connecticut and North Carolina were selected as the number one seeds. The 64-team tournament begins Saturday.
Michigan State is 23-and-8 and 13-and-3 in the Big Ten.
