The play was designed for Mike Kebler but he was well covered so he fired a pass to Ryan Erickson who calmly made a 3-pointer from the corner with 4 seconds to play as Okemos beat East Lansing 54-51 in a Class A District Final Saturday afternoon.
Mike Kebler lead the way for Okemos with 28 points while Anthony Ianni chipped in 11. Charles Woods paced East Lansing with 16 points.
Okemos advances to the Regional at Eastern's Don Johnson Fieldhouse on Tuesday night. If both Okemos and Holt win they would meet in the Regional Final.
