The Okemos basketball team will get another shot at beating East Lansing. The two teams advanced to Saturday's district final at 3pm with wins on Thursday night.
East Lansing trailed Howell by 1 point entering the fourth quarter and then held the Highlanders to 1 point in the final stanza to win 45-to-36.
In the nightcap Okemos jumped out to a 6-nothing lead and never looked back beating Eastern 71-56.
East Lansing won both meetings during the regular season.
