ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) -- The Lions are taking steps toward addressing more of their many needs.
Free agent defensive end Dewayne White met today with coaches and front office personnel.
Wide receiver Kevin Curtis plans to meet with them tomorrow.
The Lions need a defensive end. White played for Detroit coach Rod Marinelli when he was the defensive line coach at Tampa Bay.
Curtis played for offensive coordinator Mike Martz when he was the Saint Louis Rams' head coach.
The Lions were 3-and-13 last season, and an N-F-L-worst 24-and-72 since 2001.
