DETROIT (AP) -- Robert Lang broke out of a slump and Nicklas Lidstrom reached a couple of milestones.
Lang had a goal and three assists, and Lidstrom got his 200th goal and two assists to lead the Detroit Red Wings to a 6-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday night.
Mathieu Schneider, Valtteri Filppula, Jiri Hudler, and Johan Franzen got the other Detroit goals, and Pavel Datsyuk added three assists. Chris Osgood made 18 saves.
Lang had his first multipoint game since Jan. 13.
"It's nice. Every time you struggle a little bit or things don't go your way," Lang said. "It's nice to have a nice little night when things fall your way or you get good little bounces. It was nice."
The assists were Lang's first since Jan. 13, and he had only two goals in the previous 18 games.
Lidstrom's goal was also the 100th of his career on the power play.
"It (the 200th goal) doesn't feel any special in the middle of the season," said the four-time Norris Trophy winner. "I think you're going to appreciate it a lot more when you look back when you're done playing hockey. But it was nice to get that one out of the way."
He had been on 199 since Jan. 17, a span of 17 games without a goal.
"You've got to play a long time to score 200 goals. You've got to play a real long time to score 200 as a team man," Red Wings coach Mike Babcock said. "He's just an unbelievable player. Scoring goals is just kind of an added bonus."
Jason Williams scored both goals for Chicago, which has lost seven of its past eight.
Williams was playing in his first game at Joe Louis Arena since being traded from the Red Wings to the Blackhawks on Monday. He faced Detroit in Chicago on Tuesday night.
"A little mixed emotions. Coming back here as the visiting team is a little different," Williams said. "I didn't want to get caught going to the wrong bench or anything."
Chicago's Patrick Lalime stopped 14 of 18 shots before being pulled 9:13 into the second period. He was replaced by Nikolai Khabibulin.
The Red Wings led 2-0 after the first period.
Lang's power-play goal opened the scoring 6:15 into the game. His shot from the left circle deflected off the skate of the Blackhawks' Duncan Keith, and off the pads of Lalime for Lang's 15th goal.
Schneider scored his 10th goal, with just three seconds left in the period, on a one-time slap shot from the high slot.
Filppula made it 3-0 off a pass from Datsyuk 7:24 into the second period, and Hudler got his 10th goal, on a breakaway, just 1:49 later after taking a perfect 80-foot pass from Datsyuk.
Williams got Chicago on the board with a short-handed goal with 8:45 remaining in the middle period when he capitalized on a turnover by Schneider.
Lidstrom got his 11th goal of the season on a 5-on-3 power play 40 seconds into the third period.
Williams scored on the power play, for his 13th goal 2:48 into the third period.
"It doesn't matter if you score a hat trick," he said. "The win is what you're coming in here for."
Franzen scored with 9:10 left.
