The BCS Commissioners have their list reportedly down to six sites for the inaugural BCS Playoff championship game set for January 12, 2015. Cities may bid and Detroit reportedly will, for games from 2016 on, but the list is at six for the inaugural.
They are the stadiums for four BCS bowl games-- Fiesta, Rose, Sugar and Orange... that's Glendale, Arizona, Pasadena, California, New Orleans and Miami. Two other cities will be considered-- the Cotton Bowl in Dallas and Chick Fil-A Bowl in Atlanta. An announcement on the selection is expected early next year.
