Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo has given Okemos walk on Mike Kebler a scholarship, at least for the coming season, because one was available. Kebler received the news from the coach last week. Kebler was honorable mention all state at Okemos in the 2007 season. He has played as a walk on for two seasons and will be a junior this winter. His former teammate, Anthony Ianni, is now an MSU walk on after transferring from Grand Valley State. Ianni can't play in games this season because of transfer rules but he can practice. Ianni also graduated from Okemos in 2007.
