The Lansing Lugnuts scratched a run out in the bottom of the 8th inning to forge a 3-3 tie, but eventually lost 5-3 at Oldsmobile Park Tuesday night to the South Bend Silver Hawks in 12 innings. The loss drops the Lugnuts to 4-8 for the second half of the season, sending them to Iowa for a series with the Burlington Bees beginning Wednesday night.
