Oldsmobile Park likely will no longer be called Oldsmobile Park after the 2010 Lugnuts season. General Motors has notified the City of Lansing it will not renew its naming rights which will have paid $1.5 million over the ballpark's first 15 years. There are no new prospects for naming rights on the horizon and it is conceivable the stadium could go unnamed for an indefinite period. The City also will receive only 50 per cent of the naming rights fees in the future.
