University of Michigan police have arrested a 23-year-old man they say stalked and sent threatening e-mails to football coach Lloyd Carr.
The Ann Arbor man was arrested Tuesday, the day on which Carr and other coaching staff members got threatening, harassing and obscene e-mail messages.
They say that Tobi Akinmusuru was arraigned today on three misdemeanor charges and faces up to one year in jail if convicted.
Akinmusuru is jailed on a ten-thousand-dollar bond and is due back in court tomorrow.
Police say he isn't a student or former student at Michigan.
