FOUR MID MICHIGAN TEAMS REMAIN IN BOYS STATE TOURNAMENT

The Regional finals in the boys' state high school basketball tournament will be played across the state on Wednesday with four mid Michigan teams all still alive-- and all four could be gone by the end of the evening.
In class A at Lansing Eastern, it's Holt vs. once beaten Kalamazoo Central. Central is a heavy favorite over the 19-5 Rams who beat Okemos 59-56 on Monday.
In class B, Haslett has a chance against Hastings at DeWitt. All the games are at 7 o'clock.
In class C, Pewamo-Westphalia, with three losses, faces a tough Grandville Calvin Christian team at Bath.
In class D at Williamston, Lansing Christian faces New Lothrop. All of the winners are then off until next Tuesday's quarter-finals. The semi-finals and finals are a week from next Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Breslin Center.
