Ohio State overcame a 54-50 deficit in the final minutes and beat Wisconsin 61-57 Friday in the quarter-finals of the Big Ten men's basketball tournament in Indianapolis.
The Buckeyes thus advance to Saturday's 1:40pm semi-final against Michigan State, a 64-56 winner earlier in the day against Minnesota. The Spartans beat the Buckeyes twice during the regular season.
Friday night, Michigan was scheduled to play Illinois and Purdue vs. Penn State and the winners of those two games would meet at 4pm Saturday in the other semi-final. The championship game is set for 3:30pm Sunday. Michigan is the only team Michigan State has never faced in the Big Ten tournament. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion.
