Lions Trade Jon Kitna To Cowboys

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -- The Dallas Cowboys have acquired quarterback Jon Kitna to back up Tony Romo.
The Cowboys sent cornerback Anthony Henry to Detroit in Saturday's trade.
Kitna finished the 2008 season on injured reserve because of a back injury and was not expected to return to the Lions. He is due a $1 million roster bonus March 3.
Kitna started four games for Detroit last year, completing 68 of 120 attempts for 758 yards and five touchdowns with five interceptions.
Henry started all 16 games for Dallas last season, recording 55 tackles, two sacks and one interception. He played four seasons with the Cowboys. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion. Please respect and abide by the house rules:
