MSU OVER MICHIGAN IN BIG TEN MEN'S BASKETBALL

Michbigan made four out of 24 three point shots-- disaster for the Wolverines-- they lost 54-42 to Michigan State Tuesday night in Ann Arbor. The Spartans improve to 10-2 in the Big Ten and now have a 2 1/2 game lead in their quest to win a BIg Ten title for the first time since 2001. Kalin Lucas had 15 points, Delvon Roe 14 and DeShawn Sims led Michigan with 18. The Spartans led 23-15 at halftime. Michigan falls to 15-10 on the season. Michigan State is now off until next Tuesday's game at Purdue. Michigan State, ninth ranked this week in the polls, is now 20-4 on the season and is 6-0 on the road with away games remaining at Indiana and Illinois besides Purdue.
