Suspended MSU hockey player Corey Tropp is re-thinking his decision to apply for reinstatement to the Spartan hockey team next season. And MSU coach Rick Comley says he'd likely give Tropp another chance for next season. Tropp is back in school and has left the Sioux Falls, South Dakota junior team he joined last week. Tropp had been suspended along with teammate Andrew Conboy after an incident in Ann Arbor late in the Michigan game ten days ago. Conboy has since signed an AHL contract with a Montreal Canadiens farm team.
Tropp is in school and can apply for reinstatement to the team in the off season. His teammates have encouraged him to return and have visited with Comley about the possibility. Look for that to happen. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion. Please respect and abide by the house rules:
