RED WINGS CONTINUE TO STRUGGLE

The Dallas Stars handed the Detroit Red Wings their fourth straight loss Thursday night at Joe Louis Arena, 4-2. The Wings were down 4-0 after one period and the deficit was too much to overcome. Former Michigan goalie Marty Turco won his first ever regular season game in Joe Louis Arena. The Red Wings ended their 7-game home ice winning streak. Dallas won the season series, three games to one. Dallas has now won three in a row for the first time this season. Marian Hossa and Andres Lilja scored the Wings' goals in the second period.
