Michigan State and Western Michigan have moved the location of next season's football game.
The Nov. 7 game will be played at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing instead of Ford Field in Detroit.
The schools said Friday they made the change because of the current economic climate. They say it's in the best interest of all parties.
The Spartans now will have seven home games in 2009. The Broncos will face three Big Ten opponents in 2009 -- Michigan State, Michigan and Indiana.
