ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -- David Wohlberg scored twice to lift Michigan to a 6-1 win over Michigan State on Friday night.
Aaron Palushaj had a goal and two assists and Chris Summers a goal and an assist. Brandon Naurato and Brandon Burlon also scored for Michigan (6-5-0-0) in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association and 10-7-0 overall.
Matt Schepke scored for Michigan State (2-7-2-2, 4-10-3), which is winless in nine games (0-8-1).
Michigan scored three goals in the second period.
Summers' first career short-handed goal tied the game 1-1, 1:57 into the middle period. Wohlberg put the Wolverines ahead at 8:44 and Palushaj made it 3-1 with 7:41 left in the period.
Wohlberg, Naurato and Burlon scored in the third. Schepke scored short-handed in the first period.
