ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -- Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez says safety Artis Chambers has left the football program and he wouldn't be surprised if a couple more players transfer this offseason.
Rodriguez, though, insisted he expects defensive end Brandon Graham and running back Sam McGuffie to return next season.
Graham had 10 sacks in 11 games for the Wolverines as a junior and 8 1/2 as a sophomore, leading some to make him a possible candidate for the NFL draft.
McGuffie ran for 486 yards and three touchdowns as a freshman to rank second on the team in rushing. Rodriguez said McGuffie recently had a death in the family and has to take care of his 16-year-old brother in Texas.
Chambers made just four tackles as a sophomore before leaving the team last week.
