Swenson Wins Big Ten Player Of The Week

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Michigan State kicker Brett Swenson has won a Big Ten Player of the Week award for the third time this season.
Swenson made all four of his field goal attempts Saturday in Michigan State's 25-24 victory over Wisconsin, including a game-winning 44-yarder with just seven seconds left.
Northwestern quarterback Mike Kafka and Purdue quarterback Justin Siller shared offensive player of the week honors after leading their respective teams to victory.
Northwestern safety Brendan Smith won defensive player of the week honors. His interception return for a touchdown gave the Wildcats a victory over Minnesota.
