EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Michigan State kicker Brett Swenson has won a share of the Big Ten's Player of the Week award.
Swenson was perfect on all three of his field goal attempts and an extra point in the Spartans' 16-13 win over Iowa on Saturday. He was named a co-player of the week on special teams with Minnesota kicker Joel Monroe, who made three field goals in the Gophers' win over Indiana.
Illinois quarterback Juice Williams and Illini linebacker Brit Miller swept the offensive and defensive player of the week awards for the conference. Illinois defeated Michigan 45-20 Saturday.
