Ringer Big Ten Player Of The Week

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Michigan State running back Javon Ringer has been named Big Ten offensive player of the week for the second straight week.
Ringer had a career-high 282 yards on 43 carries with two touchdowns in Saturday's 17-0 win over Florida Atlantic. It was the fourth-best single game yardage total in Spartans history.
The prior week, Ringer had five rushing TDs in a victory over Eastern Michigan to share player of the week honors with Minnesota quarterback Adam Weber and Penn State running back Evan Royster.
This week's defensive honoree is Wisconsin linebacker DeAndre Levy. The conference special teams player of the week is Iowa punt returner Andy Brodell.
