Police arrested 12 people last weekend on felony charges for selling counterfeit Super Bowl tickets.

Police say 73 bogus tickets were taken from people who tried to enter Ford Field on game day.

Undercover police teams working the streets downtown also made two misdemeanor counterfeit ticket arrests and confiscated 23 fake tickets.

The NFL says there were no reports of anyone getting into Sunday's game with phony tickets.

People who presented them were urged to make reports on where they got the tickets. They were not detained.

Police and the NFL are working to track down where the tickets were purchased and printed.

Most counterfeit tickets were sold for an average of 15-hundred dollars each. Their face value was 600 dollars.
