1st Woman to Work NFL Pre Season Game

The NFL reports that a woman will help officiate a game for the first time in league history. Shannon Eastin will work the Thursday night game between Green Bay and San Diego. She is from Tempe, Arizona and is a six time national judo champion. Eastin works football games in the MEAC-- Mid Eastern Athletic Conference. Replacement officials are being used with the regular NFL officials currently locked out in a contract dispute.
