Lansing Catholic Finishes Runner Up In Division 3 Boys Golf

Lansing Catholic's boys golf team stormed back from a 3-shot deficit after Fridays first round to shoot a team score of 303 on Saturday. That tied them with Big Rapids at 618. By rule the tiebreaker is the 5th players 2-day combined score which gave the title to Big Rapids by 7 shots.

Patrick Staudt shot an even par round of 72 on Saturday to lead the way. Sean Courtney and Pat Duda each shot 75. Duda won the individual title by beating Eric Gandy of Midland Bullock Creek on the 4th playoff hole with a birdie.
