Spartan Football Fantasy Camp Scheduled For June 22-23 Save Email Print

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Fans 18 and older are invited to enroll in the third-annual Spartan Football Fantasy Camp, scheduled for June 22-23 on the Michigan State campus. The entire Michigan State coaching staff, led by head coach Mark Dantonio, will coordinate a scouting combine and player draft, offensive and defensive team meetings and two practice sessions.

The non-contact practice sessions will be conducted in Spartan Stadium, and one of the fantasy camp highlights is the player introductions by the public address announcer. All practice gear – including game jerseys and shoes – will be provided.

Fantasy Camp guest instructors include: Eddie Brown (wide receiver/defensive back, 1989-90), Hank Bullough (assistant coach, 1959-69; 1994), Tico Duckett (running back, 1989-92), Alan Haller (defensive back, 1988-91), Jim Miller (quarterback, 1990-93), John Miller (defensive back, 1985-88), George Perles (head coach, 1983-94), John Shinsky (defensive tackle, 1970-73), Ed Smith (quarterback, 1976-78), Brad Van Pelt (safety, 1970-72) and Bobby Wilson (defensive lineman, 1989-90).

The cost of the fantasy camp is $1,250 per participant ($1,000 each for returning campers), including accommodations at the Kellogg Center on campus. The fantasy camp registration deadline is June 2.
