Allen Park, Mich. –The Detroit Lions will open their 2008 preseason at Ford Field against the Indianapolis Colts during the NFL’s Preseason Week 1 (August 7-11). In the 2008 preseason finale, the Lions travel to Buffalo in Preseason Week 4 (August 28-29) to battle the Bills for the final tune-up prior to the start of the 2008 season. The two teams have closed out each other’s preseason schedule each year since 2002. Detroit and Buffalo have met in 27 previous preseason games with the Lions owning a 15-11-1 lead in the series.
