Lansing Catholic Runs Away In The Second Half, Advances To Saturdays State Title Game

Lansing Catholic's boys basketball team has an opportunity to win the schools first ever boys basketball state title on Saturday after the Cougars beat Menominee 64-39 in the Class B semifinal Friday at the Breslin Center.

Lansing Catholic broke open a 4 point game at the half outscoring the Maroons 17-to-6 in the third quarter. Max Gover scored 14 and Mike Repovz 13 to lead the way. Lansing Catholic will play Flint Powers Saturday night at 8 p.m. for the state championship.
