DETROIT (AP) -- The Detroit Lions have confirmed signing former Seattle defensive tackle Chuck Darby to a 3-year contract.
The 6-foot, 297-pound Darby is expected to join Cory Redding and Shaun Cody in the rotation, replacing Shaun Rogers.
Detroit traded Rogers last week to the Cleveland Browns.
The 32-year-old Darby is a seven-year NFL veteran, who spent the past three seasons with the Seahawks. A knee injury limited Darby to only six games last season.
The Lions did not release financial terms of the contract.
